A vacancy has arisen within the London Fire Brigade for the role of Safety Event Monitoring and Corporate Reporting Officer in the Health and Safety department based at Headquarters.


In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Principle Health and Safety Adviser in undertaking a range of monitoring and reporting duties.

This includes carrying out quality control checks on the incidents reported in our accident data base and identifying issues and opportunities for development.

The post holder is also responsible for the producing health and safety performance reports including the development of live reports to enhance visualisation of data with the business intelligence solutions available.

Other duties include reviewing near misses and allocating them for investigations when required, as well as taking an active role in the delivery of our various audit and inspections programmes.
