Medical Secretary Assistant for Community Paediatrics

  • Full Time hours


  • Band

  • Post to be based at either Lincoln County Hospital
  • Flexible working hours
The Department of Community Paediatrics is looking for a passionate person to join the family.

As Secretarial Assistant you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Medical Secretaries provide an efficient Community Paediatric service.

You will be responsible for the audio typing of clinic letters, answering the telephone to internal and external parties, liaising with patients over the telephone, process incoming/outgoing post/results to name but a few.


Patient administration underpins the patient journey, supports clinical teams in delivering high quality patient care and can make a real difference to the patient experience.

Effective and efficient patient administration supports management through ensuring a high standard of data quality and by making the best use of capacity and resources.

The Medical Secretarial Assistant is a vital part of effective patient administration.
