Hours: 15 Hours per week, 39 weeks
Days:
Wednesday 12.30pm - 3.30pm; Thursday & Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm
Salary:
Grade C4-6 FTE £21,189 - £21,968 (prorated salary)

The Acorn MAT (AMAT) was established in 2014 and is a group of schools in rural villages and small market towns on the borders of East Devon and West Dorset.
At Thorncombe St Mary's CE Primary Academy, we view education as a joint venture, involving everyone - children, parents, staff, governors and the wider community.

We are looking for a well-organised, motivated and committed member of staff to join our friendly and hardworking team, to provide administrative support throughout the school.
Applicants should have:
- Excellent people skills to warmly welcome our parents, teachers and visitors;
- Excellent IT skills and to be able to adapt to different IT systems;
- The ability to be proactive in assisting all members of staff;
- A passion and willingness in helping the school to thrive in the community;
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Ability to prepare formal letters, process data, update the website and social media
- A strong awareness of the importance of safeguarding in schools.
The person appointed will be expected to be responsible for:
- Various administration tasks and communications with parents;
- Being a warm and welcoming point of contact for the school;
- Liaising with and offering support to staff, parents, pupils and other professionals.
