We typically handle claims from £25,000 up to many millions and deal with both private and commercial clients, ranging from small enterprises through to large multi-nationals.

What can you expect?
- We have an exciting role for an ACILA qualified individual to join our successful team in the position of Senior Claims Consultant.
- This position will be responsible for claims preparation work for a quality portfolio of losses. With a high proportion of your caseload likely exceeding £100k and often reaching over £1 Million a significant background in working with highly technical claims is essential.
- Ownership of key activities including stakeholder communications, claim investigations, quantification of losses, investigation and resolution of coverage issues and negotiation with insurers to reach an agreeable settlement
- This role will be looking after clients across Scotland and will have the opportunity of being based remotely within Scotland.

We will rely on you to:
- To proactively manage all identified claims with a minimum value of £5000
- Liaise with clients and claimants to ensure appropriate, timely and cost effective resolution of claims
- Ensure regular communication with clients regarding process of claims to ascertain the client's satisfaction with the way their claims are being managed
- To coordinate the appointment of outside specialist services where necessary
- Grow and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Attend site meetings with clients and insurers' representatives
- Mentor junior colleagues and promote a collaborative and positive work environment for the wider team
What you need to have:
- ACILA accredited or engineering or Surveying qualification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in managing complex commercial property insurance claims
- Full drivers licence
What makes you stand out:
- Experience dealing with Private Clients is desirable but not essential
- Experience of handling Business Interruption and ICOW claims
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant to the industry
- Professional qualifications (e.g ACII, FUEDI-ELALE or similar)
