BI Analyst / Data Analyst - SQL, ETL, SQL Server, Oracle, SSIS, Informatica, Pandas, Numpy, Scikit, Azure, Datawarehousing, Databricks; PowerBI Tableau.

Insurance, London/Remote (Hybrid 3/2). Permanent, £60k - £70k +Bonus +Benefits.

Global Insurance company seeks Business Intelligence Analyst with strong data management and ETL skills to manage and manipulate/model data from multiple internal sources to generate meaningful MIS and Business Intelligence in both PowerBI and Tableau.

Working with data from SQL Server and related Azure datawarehousing environments as well as enterprise level Oracle environments the BI Analyst / Data Analyst will undertake ETL work with tools such as SSIS and Informatica, modelling using SQL and related toolsand analyse / model data using tools such as Numpy, Pandas etc.

Once modelling has been undertaken you will utilise the data within BI / DV tool environments such as PowerBI and Tableau to deliver analysis as required by various departments across the EMEA enterprise.

You will create ad-hoc reports and develop dashboardswhich will assist departments in underwriting property and casualty risk, limiting exposure and helping them to price appropriately.

You will also play a role in the ongoing enhancement of the platforms in the cloud specifying and utilising cutting edge technologiessuch as Horton Works, Cloudera, MapR or Databricks.

We are searching for a BI Analyst / Data Analyst / BI Developer / PowerBI Developer who has strong SQL and ETL skills (SSIS and Informatica), if comfortable managing data from multiple disparate sources, modelling data using contemporary tools and can producemeaningful analysis and data visualisation from PowerBI and/or Tableau.

You will ideally have gained some experience with Horton Works, Cloudera, MapR or Databricks. Excellent organisational, stakeholder engagement and communication skills are pre-requisite.
