Job Title Leveraged Debt Capital Markets (LDCM) Analytics Associate - Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA)

You will join the Leveraged Finance EMEA Portfolio Management team as an Analytics Associate and will assist with, and improve, the depth and frequency of the monitoring of non-investment grade corporate loans that are located in EMEA LDCM.


You will also support the monitoring of approximately €5billion lending portfolio across approximately 200 credits and diverse sectors, (such as Consumer, Industrial, Healthcare, Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) as well as others) within the EMEA region.

Your key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ongoing assessment of credits' financial and operational performance including capital structure, covenant compliance, valuation and business plan updates
  • Regular engagement with leveraged finance origination and credit departments to update on credit/ sector performance and live deals executions
  • Opportunity to work on restructurings for distress credits with the workout team
  • View business models from a credit perspective: Impact on cashflows/ revenue/cost base, covenant headroom, liquidity position and valuation/ equity cushion in sensitized macro or eventrisk scenarios

Your skills and experience

  • Previous relevant experience with leading accountancy or investment banking institutions
  • Educated to undergraduate degree level or equivalent qualification/work experience in finance or accountancy
  • Associated Chartered Accountant (ACA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualifications would be beneficial
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid technical skills (financial modelling, accounting and finance)
