Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our warehouse and production team as a Upholsterer. As a Upholsterer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to assembling and fabricating Items.


Responsibilities:


  • Cut fabric to correct measurements
  • Use hand tools to assemble and fabricate products according to specifications
  • Operate power tools to complete assigned tasks
  • Cover furniture frames with padding and fabric, using stitching, staples, tacks or glue
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area

Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions
  • Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Previous experience as an upholsterer

Salary:
£11.20-£11.75 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
