This company has over 30 years' experience in the electromechanical industry in partnership with two of the leading manufacturers of industry Systems.

Looking for an electrically focused PM with ideally mnaufacturing or strong equipment knowledge

Offering a complete solution, including design, manufacture, installation and testing of control panels and associaited bespoke equipment

Experience in this product is not essential - product training is available

Dealing with the growth within the business we are looking to employ an addition Project Manager within the team.

It is not envisaged that this role will require home working.

This is a site and office-based role, with travel to sites under your remit throughout the UK and Europe on a frequent basis anticipated to be around 2 days per week with the remainder of theweek based in the office liaising with the design, estimating and administration departments within this business.

Clear lines of communication and relationship building is also needed with the Engineers and our installation partners.


This is an exciting opportunity for the right person, who will have an active role in reviewing and developing the company's delivery processes through working within and exploring the parameters of.

The work is varied, interesting and often fast paced,requiring a high level of accuracy, good communication skills, and a sense of humour.


Responsibilities

  • Working with the Sales / Estimating team, Design, Administration, Engineers, Supply Partners and Installation Partners to coordinate and manage the process from a hand over that you will conduct through to site delivery and completion of the project, workingto process and in a timely manner.
  • Communicating Updates in the weekly team meeting.
  • Communicating items and issues to the customer, being their 'go to' person.
  • On site for two to three days per week, managing the installation partners, the customers expectations, site meetings as required and any other site level items. The remainder of the week to be in the office ensuring all items raised at site level are addressedin a timely manner.
  • Reviewing, Accepting and Querying any VO's that come to us from our partners, assisting in the Preparation of VO's and being the issuer of the document to the customer. Maintaining up to date records of such items.
  • Liaising with the team to ensure deliveries to site are efficient, on time and follow the correct booking in procedures.
  • Carry out any reasonable requests issued to you within the Company's scope of business.

Skills Required:


  • Previous Project Management experience within the Busbar field is desired but will accept applicants that have
  • Project Managed within the electrical industry. Full product training to be given, this may include site time with the installers.
  • A working knowledge of Building Services, including current installation processes.
  • Must be able to read, understand and interpret Engineering drawings that will be issued for the installation process.
  • Must be IT literate, moderate skills in the Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF, Microsoft Project).
  • Must be a confident communicator and able to prioritise workloads with deadlines.
  • Experience of Revit, Inventor and BIM modelling would be an advantage but not essential.
Knowledge of modern circuit protection systems would be an advantage.


Offering in return:
39 hours per week.

£, dependent upon experience

Full Product Training will be given.
