Role:
Insurance Account Executive


Base Location:
South Birmingham B27, hybrid working


Salary:
£40 - 60,000 dependent on experience

We are working exclusively with a successful and growing Chartered Insurance Broker who are seeking to recruit experienced and talented Insurance Account Executives.

Working closely with the senior leadership team and maintaining strong internal relationswith colleagues in Account Handling teams, you will formulate business development plans and proactively grow the client base.


Key Accountabilities

  • Build and execute a business development strategy through your existing knowledge of the sector and formulate prospect lists
  • Generate meeting through various channels and effectively communicate quotations
  • Support the onboarding process of new clients
  • Visit clients face to face to provide an overview of the business and product portfolio
  • Spot opportunities for crossselling with existing client accounts

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience and proven success in a similar Account Executive or Sales role within the Commercial Insurance industry
  • Strong level of understanding of the Financial Services industry
  • Certificate in Insurance or similar advantageous
  • Confident personality with outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail skills
  • Positive attitude towards work with a "can do" ethos
  • Strong influencing, sales and account management skills
  • Experience using Acturis system advantageous
