Internal Account Manager - Basingstoke, Hampshire

£28000-£ OTE + Benefits


Leading IT Distributor in Hampshire are expanding their Account Management team and currently require an Internal Account Manager with IT Sales experience ideally working with reseller partners selling into the Private Sector.


Established over 30 years ago, our client is proud of the status they have with the leading vendors in the market including - HP, Dell, Microsoft and Symantec, your responsibility will be to work with a set number of accounts, maintaining excellent linesof communication and a consistent level of sales.


Key duties include:

  • Working with 50+ accounts selling both Hardware and Software Technology producing quotes for both new and reoccurring business.
  • Identifying new partnerships within your client portfolio including attending vendor meetings (virtually).
  • Work towards monthly sales targets, owning your KPI's on a weekly basis.
  • Work remotely 2 days a week.

Experience required:

  • 23 years' experience in an IT Sales environment.
  • Proven track record working towards G.P sales targets.
  • Ideally hold a full driving license.
  • Knowledge of the various IT Channels.
The Internal Account Manager role will come with specific vendor training and an uncapped commission scheme. Additional benefits include remote working (2 days a week), charity days, corporate health/pension scheme and a career path for progression intoa Key Account Director
