Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Process payroll and ensure timely payments to employees.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update accounting ledgers.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- AAT qualification or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience working as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type:
Part-time
Salary:
Up to £26,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 per week
