Description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Process payroll and ensure timely payments to employees.
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update accounting ledgers.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and procedures.

Requirements:


  • AAT qualification or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience working as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
Up to £26,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 per week
