PROPERTY MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE

About the role:

René House CIC provide Supported Accommodation to homeless adults and families in Nottinghamshire.


We manage multiple properties across the County and are looking to recruit a Property Maintenance Operative to support us to manage the general maintenance within our properties.


  • Experience in painting and decorating
  • Experience in general DIY
  • Experience in assembling furniture
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good timekeeping
  • Confidence to work independently
  • Great organisational skills

Full UK Driving Licence
The key duties and responsibilities of the role are

  • Carry out general maintenance tasks:
  • Painting and decorating
  • Assembling furniture
  • Changing locks
  • General DIY tasks
  • Preparing voids within the property for move ins
  • Smoke alarm checks
  • Gardening

Admin tasks associated with the role:

  • Carrying out inspections and completing detailed checklists
  • Using relevant reporting systems
  • Own diary management
  • Liasing with the team to organise works required

Working Hours:


This role is 25 hours a week, which are flexible to suit you unless something is required to be done within a timely manner.

With the flexibility of the role, it can be worked across 7 days a week.


Driving is required for this role with a clean driving licence. A company van and fuel card will be provided.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
£12.00-£15.00 per hour
