Pay Grade Dorset Grade 1 FTE (£22,366)

Actual Pro Rata Pay (£8998), Hourly Rate of Pay £11.59.

The vacancy is a term time position, working 16 Hrs Per Week (Monday to Thursday inclusive 3:15pm to 6:30pm and 3.30pm to 6:30pm on a Friday), with the additional contracted requirement to carry out 64 hours deep cleaning works during the non term time.


We are looking to recruit a reliable, flexible, hardworking and committed person to join our busy cleaning team to undertake general cleaning of a designated area within our school premises.


Previous experience of working in a school environment is not essential, but an interest in the welfare of children and their wellbeing is a necessary attribute for this post.


Start Date:
as soon as possible

  • 16 hours per week (Monday through to and including Thursday 3:15pm to 6:30pm, Friday: 3.30pm to 6.30pm) these hours are during term time when pupils are at school.
  • There is a requirement within this role to undertake cleaning works during the holiday periods. In addition to the 16 hours per week (Term Time), the contracted paid hours will include 64 hours to be worked in nonterm time weeks as agreed in advance with the Cleaner in Charge.
  • 6.44 weeks holiday pay
