Do you have an interest in fashion retail and a willingness to learn and progress?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Office Assistant to join our client who are now established as one of the largest within their specialist fashion retail sector

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To assist the design teams in the smooth running of the office and assisting each team with both daily tasks and ad hoc requests.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collate and file customer PO's

Assist the merchandising team with raising orders when necessaryRequest keep samples from factory

Request mockshop samples for customers

Photograph product for catalogue

Manage the daily DHL requests create DHL shipments and open DHL parcels when they arrive and distribute to the correct team member
Distribute incoming mail
Chase the factories for weekly critical paths

From time to time, assist the merchandising team to update Critical Paths with latest information from factories and customers

Chase samples through the Technical team and Merchandising

Log samples as they arrive in the office

Amend Syspro with any changes to deliveries and prices if necessary

Assist account managers with creating spreadsheets with sample information after meetings

Work with the team to review new ideas and sales opportunities

General office duties

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Previous office experience preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including good telephone manner are essential.

Organised and adaptable.

The ability to work well in a small team.
