Castell Howell Foods is Wales' leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England.

We currently have a vacancy for a Welsh Products Sales Specialist based in West Wales.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Championing Welsh producers and products to promote the 'Value of Welshness' by prioritising and driving sales of Welsh products into new and existing customers
Arranging and attending Welsh food producer meetings, on and off site, to provide an insight into Welsh products that are on demand
Seeking out new opportunities within the Welsh Sector on sales
Suggesting new products to the purchasing team from market insight to complement the range for approval before being listed
Involvement in organising new launches, demonstration days and ongoing promotions in line with listings and providing training to the Sales teams on Welsh category products. Communicating with all internal stakeholders (including the buying and marketing teams) on new products, delists and launches
Constant monitoring of ranges to ensure maximum sales are achieved and lines that are not meeting sales targets are delisted
Advising customers on suitable lines for stocking and promoting. Carrying out training with retail customers on how best to display products to reach their full sales potential

Sales experience, good organisational and communication skills are essential. Welsh speaking is desirable.
