What will the apprentice be doing?
The role is very much based around being a team player, as you will be given the opportunity to work with various areas of the company, such as rotas, HR and Administration.
This will give you valuable experience of how businesses are run and allow you to put your new business skills into practice.
You will be interacting with colleagues, customers & third party professionals in the health and social care sector daily and assist with the day-to-day administration that is vital for our business's growth.
- Answering the telephones and dealing with enquiries
- Covering scanning and online organisation of scanned documents
- Providing support to the management team & running reports and surveys
- Organising events for business and manage associated costs
- Producing system reports, working with Excel spreadsheets and data collection/processing
- Supporting with Social Media both posting and responding
- Running errands as required
- Assisting with project work as required
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 3 Business Administrator standard.
- 15 months practical training period, plus 3 months for End Point Assessment
- Workbased training with your employer
- Onsite assessment visits through the training provider
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English, if required
- Off the job training will count for at least 6 hours per week at work
Qualifications included:
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)
- Level 3 Business Administration qualification
End Point Assessment:
- Knowledge test
- Portfolio based interview
- Project/improvement presentation

Experience:
- No prior experience required; this is an entrylevel position for individuals seeking handson training in business administration
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
As an apprentice, you will gain practical experience in various aspects of business administration while working closely with experienced professionals.
