Timeplan are looking for a fully qualified teacher who is able to teach English at GCSE level to students with a wide range of special educational needs (predominantly autism) at an excellent special school in the Kent area.

If you are an experienced special needs teacher or have experience within a mainstream school setting and want to further build your experience teaching students with special needs this may just be the opportunity for you.

The role will start asap and will be a full time position Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 4.00pm.

As this is a teaching position you will be expected to plan and mark lessons and may be required to attend out of hours department meetings.

Situated in Kent the school has excellent facilities and is housed in a purpose built site.

The school caters for a wide variety of needs for students.

The aim of the school is to provide a suitable environment with a high level of therapeutic support and excellent teaching to allow pupils with autism to achieve their full potential and to makethe most of their intelligence, focus and skills.

Teaching and learning will be based on the statutory framework.
