Accounts Assistant / Administration

We have a fantastic opportunity for a reputable charity in the Medway. They are looking for an accounts administrator to join their team.

Due to increase work load they are looking for someone to join their finance team.


Accounts Admin role will contain:

  • Cash and Bank reconciliation
  • Purchase Ledger, Coding of invoices and expenses claims and input to SAGE.
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and reconciling to supplier statements
  • Distribution of Cheques/Remittance advices to suppliers
  • Dealing with supplier enquiries and the prompt resolution of queries
  • Setting up new supplier accounts.
  • Sales Ledger, Raising Sales Invoices, Issue of Statements
  • General Accounting
  • Raising one off payments
  • Input of credit card receipts to SAGE
  • To undertake daily cash counting as required
  • Legacy administration
  • Drafting standard letters to executors/solicitors
  • Prompt and accurate scanning and filing of all documentation
  • Ensure all incoming correspondence are dealt with in a timely manner
