Operations Technician - EfW Power Station

West Sussex

Around £28,000 + Benefits

Alecto Recruitment is keen to hear from Operators and Operations Technicians, who have experience overseeing shift teams in the EfW sector or similar, interested in a full-time permanent role in the West Sussex area.

Job Brief
You will be part of the day-to-day Operations Team and will assist with the safe and efficient operation of the plant to ensure critical decisions are made in a safe and professional manner including;

Working on a day's/night's shift pattern
Assisting in the operation of site and attending to breakdowns
Performing plant walk arounds, adjustments, and readings
Operating mobile plant
Using DCS/SCADA to monitor and control the operational equipment
General tidying and housekeeping of the site
Other duties as required

Requirements:

A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in an engineering or related process sector (Navy technicians are also encouraged to apply)
Experience in a process or marine industry desired
Previous mobile plant experience desired but not essential
Willingness to learn and train within a new role.
Full UK Driving Licence required.

Package

Salary is up to £28,000 plus benefits.
Performance related Bonus available.
Overtime is paid at 1.5x
