Support worker

VR/LG

  • We are looking for a support worker to provide support and help to a young man in his twenties learning work skills in the community e.g. In Charity shops, the library etc.
The young man likes sports, accessing the community and interacting with his peers.


Hours and rate of pay

  • 3 hours every ThursdayDisclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
Car owner with business insurance is essential.


Location

  • St Albans
    Training
  • Training will be offered to complete the mandatory training required:
  • Safeguarding Adults
  • Introduction to first aid
  • Health and Safety

What you would be doing

  • Support and help with learning work skills in the community e.g. in Charity shops, library etc.
Also, support with accessing the gym


The person I would like

  • Applicants should be friendly, active, patient and supportive while communication and while learning work skills whether in retail or the library or gardening etc.If interested please send a CV and a copy of your DBS status.
