Description

We are looking for Skilled Slaughter for our Boning Hall teams who are responsible for cutting, deboning and preparing carcasses before they are further processed.

• Shave or singe and defeather carcasses, and wash them in preparation for further processing or packaging.
• Skin sections of animals or whole animals.
• Slit open, eviscerate, and trim carcasses of slaughtered animals.
• Stun animals prior to slaughtering.
• Shackle hind legs of animals to raise them for slaughtering or skinning.
• Responsible for maximising the yield of the product and minimising waste to ensure production is as efficient as possible.
• Follow the sites Health, Safety and Training Procedures at all times.

• Good Practical butchery and knife skills.
• A high standard of personal cleanliness.
• Full knowledge and experience within the industry, with Cattle.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Good time keeping and attendance.
• Be selfmotivated.
• Have attention to detail.
