Finance Manager role - 12 month contract

Are you looking for a varied and interesting contract role? Do you have experience of working in a busy accounts team? Would you like to work as part of a friendly and incredibly supportive team in a stunning location?

If so then my client has a brilliant opportunity for you to join their team as a Finance Manager on a 12 month contract.

Reporting to the Head of Finance you will manage a Finance Officer and will have a varied role managing the day to day finances of thisbusy organisation who is a registered charity.

Duties will include:

Prepare and close the financial month end, reconciling accounts, investigating variances and preparing a draft set of management accounts for review.
Distribution of monthly budgets to budget holders.
Nominal ledger review, with general ledger journals made where necessary.
Supporting the Head of Finance in the preparation of annual budgets.
Supporting the Head of Finance in the year end audit, preparing audit files and supporting the auditors and accountants with their work.
Assist with the drafting of timely term end accounts to include accruals and prepayments
Prepare and update monthly cashflow forecast.
Update the fixed asset schedule and calculate depreciation in line with accounting policies.
When required, make real time returns and payments to HMRC and pension providers.
To produce month and year end returns, to include Pension and P60's.

Successful applicants will be qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or will have relevant experience of working in a busy finance team including preparing management accounts and ideally will have worked in a managerial or supervisory role.

You will also be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills as you will have regular contact with people across the organisation and external suppliers and customers.
