Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Processing daily transactions in Sage 50 Accounts.
- Bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Creating and sending out sales invoices.
- Maintaining both sales and purchase ledgers.
- Monitoring cashflow.
- Process payments via online banking.
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
- Assisting accountants with annual accounts.
- Submitting weekly contractors' payroll onto Indigo portal
- Sending monthly payroll information to accountants.
- Keeping up to date vehicle records
- Maintaining company accreditations (Safecontractor, CHAS, etc.)
- Completing supplier questionnaires.
- General finance/office admin duties.
Required Skills:
- Ability to manage own workload.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe.
- AAT studier / studied (Preferred but not required).
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary:
£18,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
