Description

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Processing daily transactions in Sage 50 Accounts.
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Creating and sending out sales invoices.
  • Maintaining both sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Monitoring cashflow.
  • Process payments via online banking.
  • Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
  • Assisting accountants with annual accounts.
  • Submitting weekly contractors' payroll onto Indigo portal
  • Sending monthly payroll information to accountants.
  • Keeping up to date vehicle records
  • Maintaining company accreditations (Safecontractor, CHAS, etc.)
  • Completing supplier questionnaires.
  • General finance/office admin duties.

Required Skills:


  • Ability to manage own workload.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe.
  • AAT studier / studied (Preferred but not required).

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 25 per week


Salary:
£18,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
