Description

The post holder will be responsible for managing the Lottery project and ensuring that effective financial and admin systems and procedures are in place to monitor actual spend and targets against the profile.

The post holder will also be required to develop tenders over the two-year period to bring in an external partner(s) to deliver on an evaluation, workforce development, research and other sub-contracted pieces of work etc.

The Strategic Lead Officer will be responsible for working closely with the Lottery and to report back to them on progress to date.

The Strategic Lead Officer will work closely with the YUSA Strategic Board and report back to them on a monthly basis and will provide recommendations and feedback on progress to date.

The post holder will work with local youth partners, wider key stakeholders such as children and young people, Public Health, Police and Crime Commissioner and regional and national Youth Sector infrastructure support partners, etc.

This role will require a focus on effective networking to establish mutually beneficial working relationships between partners so that future collaborations occur.

Through the strategy, the Lottery project and wider support from partners such as Youth Sector infrastructure agencies, there is a real opportunity for the post holder to offer significant support to the youth sector.

Catalyst is the Accountable Body for this Lottery Funded project and both posts will be directly employed by our organisation, on behalf of the Alliance.
