Science Technician (Chemistry Specialism)

£80 - £90 Per day - Term Time (Full time)

Veritas Education are currently working alongside an mainstream secondary school in Camden who are looking for support staff within their science department.

You will be working as part of a team alongside teachers and the senior science technician undertakingpractical duties when appropriate and also support students within the classes.

It is required for you to fully understand upto GCSE or A-Level Chemistry Curriculum to support accordingly.

Your duties will include preparation of materials and equipment of science lessons, carrying out risk assessments, keep check of stock and disposing of waste appropriately.

Alongside the technician role you will also be expected to support students withinthe class occasionally - especially during practical sessions.

The school has a supportive team of staff which will assist you during your progress within the role.
