The role


As part of Coventry University Online's ambitious development plans, Content Coordinators provide support to a busy team of learning designers and production editors, enabling the timely production and maintenance of online teaching materials and associatedmarketing content.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to designing degree and professional courses for online delivery.


This post is open to a wide range of background and experiences in online content management or course scheduling experiences, where you will be able to play a positive part in the wider business and help our students achieve success.

We are looking forsomeone who takes pride in being focused, is an organised team member, and is looking to make a valuable contribution to the production of the highest quality digital learning content.


Among your duties you can expect to be involved in:

  • Supporting the Content Team in the preparation of teaching and templated marketing materials for delivery via the appropriate online platform
  • Checking and formatting teaching and marketing materials following house style, to ensure consistent standards throughout
  • Performing checks on online content before it is presented to a new cohort of students, and processing updates if needed
  • Coordinating the workflow and use of cloudbased collaborative tools in support of the production and maintenance of online learning materials
  • Collating, formatting and storing academic references following the Coventry University referencing style liaising with colleagues as required
  • Providing administrative support for the preparation and running of workshops, meetings and other Content Team activities
  • Promoting a collaborative, creative and inclusive culture within the Content Team and wider business.

Skills and experience

  • Experience of working collaboratively and being responsible for coordinating routine activities such as reports
  • Experience of working proactively to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience of having undertaken work where a high degree of accuracy is required
  • Providing support to a highperforming team
  • A selfmotivated team player with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines while balancing conflicting demands
  • Close attention to detail, together with excellent planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.
