Description

Handle are recruiting for a Digital Designer with experience in UX to join an iconic British retailer as they prepare to completely redesign and redevelop their digital products.

This role will be responsible for developing and leading the digital creative and requires a highly skilled designer with their own intrinsic aesthetic to breathe new life into the digital channels.

The role

To lead and deliver inspiring and engaging designs across all Digital touch points
Ownership of all Digital designs across projects and campaigns
Excellent typography skills to create compelling and innovative design aligned with brand heritage
Solid understanding and appreciation for UX and mobile first approach and responsive web design
Collaboration with Online Trading and Dev teams to support optimum UX
Using CMS systems, with an intuitive & creative approach
To translate briefs into creative and commercial design, enhancing customer experience
Creating brand guidelines and brand tool kits

Required skills and experience

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in a fastpaced retail environment.
Proven background in design with a strong portfolio showing visual and interactive design
Solid experience with UX and design
Excellent skills in typography and layout.
Up to date on industry trends and best practices
Excellent communication & presentation skills, with the ability to effectively talk through your work to a variety of audiences
