Pegasus Express Ltd is a leading freight and logistics company providing palletised freight solutions across the UK.

Reporting to our Depot Manager, you will assist in the day to day operation of our busy Glasgow depot. Experience in a similar environment is desirable, although not essential as training will be given where required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a career in the logistics industry


Key Responsibilities:


  • Route all C&D freight ensuring customer service levels are met
  • General Traffic office Duties as required
  • Supervise the arrival and departure of all drivers including agency personnel
  • Check in/out all freight including opening/closing curtains and scanning in/out freight
  • Ensure that oversize freight and revenue are captured per the relevant processes
  • Ensure goods stored in warehouse are in appropriate bays
  • Carry out regular bay checks
  • Update online systems as required
  • Communicate with and support Customer Services Team as required
  • Comply with any special customer requirements as advised
  • Assist with supervision of drivers
  • Close down on deliveries completed by depot and subcontractors

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£11.00 per hour
