I am working with a Central Government Department who are looking for an experienced Auditor to work on their Grant Assurance team.

The role is full time, to start urgently and paying up to £400 Umbrella per day. The role is in scope of IR35.

The role is hybrid and you would be expected in the office 2-3 days a week. Offices are in Sheffield, Coventry or Bristol.


The role:

  • Working alongside a perm person to complete the NAO irregularity audit and an internal audit.
  • To provide NAO irregularity evidence.
  • Once this years audit is complete, begin prerecess for next years audit.

  • Strong team player
  • Accrual understanding
  • Stakeholder management
  • Diplomatic/ personable
  • Part qualified accountant or above.

Desirable skills:

  • Public Sector experience
  • Auditor qualification
