MMP Consultancy are currently seeking a Building Surveyor for a Permanent, with a large housing association in London. Salary is £45,000 per annum.

Hybrid Working - South East London Based Office

Contract:
Permanent


Key Skills:

  • Surveying duties including pre and post inspection
  • Damp and Mould experience essential.
  • Ability to communicate with tenants, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Schedule of Rates knowledge and methods of measurement
  • Building maintenance particularly within social housing
  • Recognising policies and procedures, adhering to these and documenting what is required.
  • Ensuring health and safety throughout works and compliance, particularly fire safety.
  • Proven experience and ability to deliver excellent customer care and valuing diversity.
  • Proven attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets and varying caseload, with projects from inception to completion.
  • Demonstrable experience and skills managing customer relationships to ensure a high level of customer care and satisfaction
  • In depth knowledge of Schedule of Rates and methods of measurement, with experience in achieving and ensuring Value for Money
  • Up to date knowledge of Health & Safety and other legislation relevant to the role

Qualifications (Desirable):

  • Degree in Building Surveying or similar technical qualification (HND HNC)
  • Professional Membership (preferred)
