Across East Sussex we are working in partnership to deliver better outcomes for our residents and support them to live fulfilling lives in thriving communities.

We are building an approach that values and prioritises local assets, actively promotes inclusion and identifies and tackles disadvantage.

To help achieve these ambitions a new Partnerships Team has been created to support our priorities for improved community networks, greater financial inclusion, better migrant support and a valued and supported voluntary and social enterprise sector.


The Role


We are looking for two Partnership Programme Leads to join our new team and accelerate our programmes of work on community networks and financial inclusion.

These roles will work with a wide range of partners within the public and third sector to identify priorities, map assets and areas of development, build on what works, pilot new approaches and develop programmes of work that can achieve long lasting benefits for local communities.


These roles will ensure a clear programme is in place for community networks and financial inclusion, including appropriate governance, project plans, stakeholder management arrangements, alignment with interdependent programmes, benefits management and continuous learning and improvement.


You will be an skillful project or programme manager with an interest in community development and experience of working collaboratively across organisations and sectors.

You will be able to be able to work effectively, professionally and engagingly with a range of partners, valuing the contribution of people across all our communities and organisations of all sizes and sectors.

You will be focussed on benefits and outcomes for local people whilst operating in a complex system. You will be working within a supportive team and wider partnership to coordinate our resources to achieve common goals.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
