Job summary
We have a new position for an Administrator to work on a part time basis, 21 hours per week, Mon/Tue/Wed/Thurs 9-12 and Friday hour for lunch).

We are a busy NHS GP practice in Ripon. We have a large team of clinicians, including 6 GP's, an ACP and nursing staff. We also have other specialist practitioners who support our team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

The role responsibilities require a methodical, level headed person who is comfortable working to multiple demands and priorities.

The post holder will interact with the Practice Manager, staff, patients and clinicians on a daily basis and be willing to support the whole team.

Job responsibilities

Scanning patient information and checking results including coding where required.
New patient queries. Registration of new patients and returning notes for those patients no longer registered with the practice.
Summarising patient records.
Checking and distribution of post, reports and test results.
Providing patient records for solicitors and insurance companies and other agencies as required.
Assisting secretaries with referrals during absence.
General office duties and filing as necessary.
Receiving and dealing with telephone enquiries as appropriate.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 19.5 per week

Salary:
From £10.90 per hour
