Associate Marketing Manager - Inside IR35
We are currently recruiting for an Associate Marketing Manager for our client who are a market-leading provider of B2B Information Services to the world's Information & Communication Technology community.
This will be on an initial 4 month contract and requires2 days a week in the office in London Blackfriars.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the marketing strategy to deliver key marketing and business objectives for a series of events/training, including a strategy to drive synergies, growth and identification of opportunities
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns for our events portfolio that delivers paid delegates and free attendees
- Understand data practice and segmentation to create targeted campaigns
- Adopt a test and learn approach to understand which channels are performing and optimizing marketing plans
- Build a content strategy and plan for each event to engage, nurture and convert audiences
- Good understanding of the marketing funnel and the channels and tactics needed to drive audiences further down the funnel
- Deliver analysis and insights reporting from marketing metrics that help achieve ROI
- Provide detailed weekly reporting for stakeholders on event registrations and event marketing performance
- Manage and support sponsors with marketing assets
- Source and manage media partners and associations to ensure they are maximizing our events marketing to their audiences
- Manage event marketing budgets
- Build good working relationships with key stakeholders: Sales, Production, Operation, Content, and VIP teams
- Support the crosspollination of audiences
- Work with internal and external digital agencies to launch and optimize PPC and SEM campaigns
- Responsible for retention/renewal programmes and retaining audience yeartoyear
- Develop a good understanding of all key systems, ensure best practices, continuous improvements, and driving efficiencies
- Defines new and innovative ways to improve campaign, processes and ways of working.
- Champions roll out of best practice and innovations.
- Maximises usage and adherence to systems and processes, adopting a best practice and facilitating developments in line with internal and external requirements.
Qualifications
- Prior B2B Marketing events campaign experience, forming and executing a strategy that raises awareness, generates interest and desire and solicits action
- Prior audience marketing experience and ability to understand the target audiences, brand propositions and key messages
- Experience in working with data platforms and segmentation strategies
- Content Marketing experience
- Digital marketing experience
- SEO, Google Analytics and paid search
- Experience with CMS platforms and website development
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
