Liverpool
The Role:
- Manage a team of procurement professionals within specific category
- Strategically manage, influence and lead defined areas of spend
- Develop defined sourcing programmes for category areas and devise procurement strategies
- Demonstrate best value
- Provide comprehensive insight of your category in both procurement and commercial aspects
- Lead on procurement strategy delivery within construction category
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Carry out bench marking activities and market analysis
The Person:
- Previous experience within the Public Sector
- Staff management experience
- MCIPS or equivalent level of relevant experience
- Strategic procurement experience
