Linsco are currently recruiting an experience Flooring Estimator for a leading commercial flooring contractor based within Nottinghamshire.

This role is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for accurately estimating material quantities and costs, ensuring we provide competitive and profitable bids.

Working withe Sales and Project Management Team, you will also be responsible for; but not limiting to;

Conducting thorough site visits and assessments to understand project requirements, including floor measurements, substrate conditions, and any special considerations.
Collaborating with suppliers and the procurement team to source and recommend appropriate flooring materials based on project specifications and budget constraints.
Preparing detailed and competitive bids for commercial flooring projects, ensuring that all costs and contingencies are considered.
Maintaining accurate records of project estimates, bid responses, and communications with clients and vendors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with flooring material suppliers, negotiate pricing, and stay informed about industry trends and innovations.

To be considered and successful for the role, you should have but not limiting to;

Proven experience as a Commercial Flooring Estimator in the construction or flooring industry.
Strong knowledge of commercial flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
