RTA Claims Legal Advisor

£20,000 - £23,000

Responsibilities for this position include providing high-quality legal services to customers, with a focus on gaining competency to practice as a solicitor within a supportive environment.

The Legal Advisor will also be responsible for efficient file management, including adherence to timescales and compliance with precedents, under appropriate supervision.

Proactively progressing files towards settlement, managing inactivity, and handling complaints efficiently are crucial components of this role.

Additionally, securing relevant medical reports, reviewing, and appropriately valuing them in accordance with company guidelines, Judicial College Guidelines, and Case law is a key aspect of the position.

- running RTA fast track cases and a thorough understanding of the MOJ process is highly desired

  • An ability to assess and review medical reports of various disciplines is essential, along with proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and relevant practice and business IT/case management systems.
  • Previous experience in managing cases within their area of expertise (dependent on the seniority of the role) is also a valuable asset.
