Description

To medically support the highly specialist rehabilitation ME/CFS Service in Lincolnshire with triage, assessment and treatment of complex referrals and service users as needed that require medical advice and knowledge as part of their treatment pathway.

To liaise with other medical professionals as needed.

  • Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of ME/CFS patients.
  • The practitioner will provide specialist medical services to patients referred directly to the service, as directed by the Specialty Lead. This will mainly be adult patients but will also include children and young people.
  • The clinician will receive supervision from a GPwER/Consultant working within the specialist area of ME/CFS in line with the skills and experience of the person appointed.

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the principal provider of NHS mental health services, as well as providing some learning disability, autism and social care services across the county.

We were one of the first foundation trusts to be established in the country. The Trust has an annual income of approximately £120m with around 2,800 staff spread across the 40+ locations. The Trust cares for around 53,000 patients a year and has around 200 inpatient beds across the Trust.
