An exciting new post has arisen within the Cardiology administration team, as a Clerical Assistant.


If you have the ability to multi-task in an administration role, with a flexible "can-do" attitude to work and can see yourself as part of a busy multidisciplinary team, then we would like to hear from you.


Due to the popularity of some positions, we reserve the right to close the vacancy early on receipt of sufficient applicants.

Please note this post will be a full time substantive post, based primarily at Hammersmith Hospital.


To provide a high level of administration support for the department and maintain a high quality of service to patients, carers and other visitors.


The role will involve managing the service's growing patient list and tracking patient pathways including validation of 18 weeks referral to treatment data.

This includes being responsible for scheduling appointments, booking tests and ensuring accurate data capture and entry, and adhering to Trust policies and Standard Operating Procedures.


The post holder will be expected to organise and prioritise own workload and assist colleagues to ensure the continuity of service at all times.
