AIMS Markets is the digital capital markets division of the group and AIMS Financial is the global payments and banking network.

Responsibilities include:


Responsible for planning, implementation, management and running of all the finance activities and strategy of the group to ensure we use capital and resources beneficially.

We need someone who understands finance and can contribute to how a business develops.

You will be involved in developing and performing the accounting and reporting for the wider group as it expands with different legal entities in the UK, Switzerland and the EU and beyond.

You will work closely with all key stakeholders across the company, including senior Management, Finance, Product and Customer Success functions.

Responsibilities include creating forecasting models, assessing risk in investments and developing and managing all accounting and financial reporting activities.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with financial strategy, managing accounting teams and operational financial and treasury management.

Ultimately, you will maintain our company's financial health and increase profitability in the long run.

**Specific Responsibilities include

  • Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and the group board of directors
  • Forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual results
  • Develop and manage to budgets
  • Develop and manage company financial reporting
  • Identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities for the company
  • Financial and regulatory reconciliation impacts of company payments platform and system development
  • Company lead on operational banking
  • Day to day oversight of all finance including payroll/AP/GL
  • Manage and report Treasury activities
  • Manage company tax reporting and exposures (CT/VAT)
  • Responsible for the group and intercountry taxation strategy
  • Management and control of the expenses policy

Requirements:


  • Proven, successful experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Head of Finance, Finance Director or similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex organisations
  • Indepth understanding of cash flow management and all aspects of accounting,
  • Handson experience with budgeting, reporting and risk management
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
  • Proficiency in developing and using accounting software
  • Solid analytical and decisionmaking skills
  • Strong leadership skill and team management
  • Strong and clear communication
  • Relevant accounting certification (e.g., CFA/CPA/CIMA)

  • You are a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently
