Teaching Assistant Complex Needs

Are you a Teaching Assistant who has a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Do you want to work with a caring, supportive and expected team of likeminded individuals? We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to support on a 1-2-1basis at an Ofsted "Outstanding" Special School.

This warm and welcoming school is renowned for providing excellent support for children with complex needs. Facilities are excellent, staff are passionate, and the Senior Leadership Team are always smiling.

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who has prior experience working with complex Needs and Autism.

Experience working with primary aged children is preferred, however not essential.

Job role:

  • Working on a 121 basis with a Key Stage 2 child with Complex Needs
  • Providing additional support for the class teacher
  • Keeping children engaged, being kind, caring and patient
  • Helping a child to engage in education and learning
  • Making school a fun, caring and nurturing environment for the children that you support
