- Collections Systems Officer
- You will work with the rest of the team to develop appropriate technical and data quality skills to support IWM's collections management system (Axiell Collections) and Digital Asset Management System.
- Your focus is to support IWM projects, so that each project uses the systems to deliver core work more efficiently and creates higher quality records. You will use your knowledge of data protection and data security while working to promote ease of access and use between IWM's internal systems and external platforms.
- You will test and implement appropriate system changes and work as a trouble shooter, working closely with the IT team to ensure systems issues are satisfactorily and efficiently resolved. You will import new records, ingest new digital assets, undertake data exports, data analysis and data management.

- Key duties
- You will be expected to work independently as well as across different teams in order to contribute to and deliver the priorities of IWM using your knowledge, skills, talent and potential to the best of your ability.
- You will focus at all times on delivering excellent customer service, ensure value for money at all times while being professional, courteous and demonstrating the behaviours and attributes expected of all IWM employees. You will also adhere to all corporate standards, and use corporate systems as directed to ensure consistency of service, brand and operational standards.
- You will be expected to work across departments effectively, working with individuals, partners and where appropriate volunteers.
- In addition, your duties will include:
- Managing the systems helpdesk, giving users appropriate responses and troubleshooting problems.
- Carrying out complex data imports and batch data edits.
- Carrying out complex data exports, then analysing data to present to senior staff and inform your recommendations for data or process changes.
- Interviews for this position will be held on 6th January.
