circa £35k + benefits Initially office based during training and then hybrid

Looking to work in a vibrant environment with a lovely HR team? Our client is a north east company with a portfolio of businesses and growing Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Officer will provide solid HR guidance and support covering the following areas:

  • Support managers with disciplinary and grievance cases
  • Coach managers on HR Policy & Procedures
  • Supporting recruitment and selection
  • Advise on absence management
  • Advise on performance management
  • Support the HR Manager with a range of HR projects including employee engagement and wellbeing
  • As part of the team, update HR Policies and Procedures

Essential Criteria:


  • Previous experience of ER casework
  • Ideally completed or studying towards CIPD
  • Excellent Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
  • Accuracy and good attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced busines
