Nursery Teaching Assistant (Early Years - Primary School)

Salary:
£85-£95 per day

Job Role:

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the early years curriculum and ensuring that children receive the best possible start to their education


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering ageappropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
  • Providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore and learn through play.
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Monitoring and assessing children's progress and reporting to senior staff.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring the wellbeing of all children.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A recognized qualification in childcare or early years education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to child development.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework.

Salary:
£75.00-£85.00 per day

reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
  • Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
