This is a 10 PA appointment for a Consultant Radiologist, with special interests in MSK Imaging taking a lead in the MSK ultrasound service development and delivery.

This post will deliver 10 PAs supporting the MSK Radiology team. The post will be based at the Leeds General Infirmary and Chapel Allerton Hospital. 2.

OBJECTIVES OF THE POST Overview of Radiology in LTHT The post holders skills in MSK radiology will complement and support the current demand on the service to deliver care to patients with MSK radiology needs at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust including Supervision of patients Care of in-patients Contribute to Specialist Multi-disciplinary team meetings 2.1 To link with Consultant colleagues in other relevant site specialist teams within the Radiology CSU and across the Trust.

2.2 To contribute to research, teaching and new developments within the department.

The post holder will be encouraged to facilitate and contribute to the current clinical research programs on going in the department.

2.3 The post holder will be required to contribute to the supervision and training of SpRs interested in MSK and interventional radiology.

2.4 There will be a requirement to attend and lead multi-disciplinary meetings, contribute to audit and research and assist non-medical staff in their roles in the department
