Description
Due to continuous growth and expansion, this super organisation are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join their busy and fast-paced Installations Team managing the end to end life cycle for key accounts.
The role holds responsibility for ensuring the client's work is completed on time, to budget and in line with the client's own key performance indicators.
Based locally in one of 3 offices, this role will also involve some travel to sites and other offices as required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Complete management of contracts including supply, deliver and installation
- Management of labour and contractors throughout the UK including sourcing, contracting and maintaining links.
- Ensure suitably skilled and experienced operatives are allocated to projects appropriately, referring to the skills matrix.
- Ensure that operatives allocated to specific site work have appropriate Health and Safety training.
- Working within construction industry guidelines and fulfilling requirements to ensure safety is paramount
- Ensure operatives allocated specific site work have all the necessary information, instructions and procedures to carry out the work to customer standards.
- Work within financial control and management of projects
- Work within customer specific SLA targets
- Identify and solve problems
- Liaise with various managers to ensure security installations are carried out to standard
- Monitor current processes and procedures
- Contract and document preparation including but not limited to:
- Risk assessments and method statements
- Bespoke record keeping systems
- Supplier orders
- Review of policy documents
- Preparation of survey data review, POW's and cutting sheets
- Prepare estimates to agreed schedule of rates
- PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
- Experience of managing site operations including people resources/management and sub contractors
- General Building and Construction experience and / or knowledge
- Experience looking after budgets
- Experience in resource scheduling and planning
- Strong Microsoft Office products
- Highly professional and reliable attitude in working environment
- Full UK driving licence
