A Top 30 firm of Chartered Accountants has an exciting opportunity for an Communications Manager to join their office in London or Canterbury.

Job details:


The Internal Communications Manager will strengthen the people engagement and employer brand, support with strategic internal communications and help develop our internal communications strategy and plans.

They will be responsible for producing, writing anddistributing written, visual and audio content through a variety of internal channels.

The role is part of both the Marketing and HR team and will work closely with the Business Development and Marketing Director, HR Partner and HR Director.

The role will also support the Management Board, Directors and Key Service Line Leaders with their internalcommunications.
The person in this role would develop relationships with key stakeholders and people across the firm.

  • Manage the internal communication strategy and create communication plans to help us shape and evolve it moving forwards.
  • Implementation of the strategy and plan ensuring its commercial relevance within the firm.
  • Regular reporting with analysis and recommendations based on internal metrics, feedback, trends and usage of internal channels.
  • Supporting HR with the internal and external promotion of employer brand
  • Oversee the performance, development and utilisation of internal channels including the intranet and internal social media. Working with IT, service/sector/central teams and secretaries as required.
  • Consistently look to improve user experience, searchability and quality and consistency of communications and content.
  • Designing and implementing internal content strategy and responsible for curating content and usage.
  • Create engaging communications, content and campaigns that help us live by our purpose and values and deliver on our vision.
  • Responsible for organising, supporting and implementing central internal campaigns and events, including webinars or broadcasts.
  • Copywriting internal communications and external communications in relation to employer brand or KR community.
  • Creating content working with external agencies when necessary including graphics, reports, videos, podcasts etc.
  • Create and manage communication plans for new systems, processes, offices, and any other change that impacts people internally.

Skills needed:


This role would suit an enthusiastic and proactive communications manager who has experience across a wide range of internal communications, channels and platforms and can demonstrate how they've made a difference to employer brand and people engagement previously.

You enjoy joining various communications up to maximise impact and translating jargon and complex issues into clear, concise and engaging communications that help people internally feel informed, engaged and inspired.

As well as having excellent written and oral communication skills, you have strong organisation and planning skills and great attention to detail.

You're confident building relationships at all levels, giving considerate feedback and providing a fresh approachto existing communication and engagement methods.
