Description
An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance Team at Head Office in Cookstown.

Completing bank reconciliations

Preparing and entering general ledger journals into the financial system

Processing weekly payroll

Processing monthly PAYE and Construction Industry Scheme payments to HMRC and payment of other wage deductions

Uploading and paying all pension payments

Assist with processing customer queries and payment requests

Assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing when required

Reconciliation of Direct Debits and all other supplier payments

Reconcile all balance sheet items including accruals, pre payments, trade debtors creditors, loans, intercompany accounts, PAYE and VAT etc

Credit Control

Other ad hoc activities as required by a busy accounts function


Essential Skills and Criteria
2 Years previous experience working in a busy accounts department

Knowledge of SAGE and processing wages

Strong Excel Skills

Ability to develop strong internal and external working relationships

Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and clients

Strong numeracy, communication and interaction skills with a strong attention to detail

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines


Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
