Assistant Management Accountant

Birmingham

Up to £35,000 (depending on experience)

Hybrid working

Four Squared Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with a market leading manufacturer, to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.

Advanced use of Microsoft Excel is a priority in this role.

Work alongside managers providing financial support and information to our sales team, customer services team and Inventory team and develop adhoc reports using master data from our accounting software.
Prepare the monthly management accounts pack, including monthly P&L and balance sheet in line with tight internal timelines.
Prepare other periodic financial reports including sales, budgets, variance analysis and provide commentaries.
Prepare VAT submissions and Intrastat reports for our Belgium VAT registered company.
Prepare and develop expenditure reports and help to identify ways to cut costs and ensure expenditure is kept in line with budgets.
Review systems and processes across the organisation to improve controls.
Monitor and evaluate financial information systems and suggest improvements where needed.
Interpret and communicate financial data to nonfinancial colleagues to support decision making in their own business area.

You will have excellent numerical, analytical skills and a strong eye for detail. You will have advanced excel and excellent at building relationships with internal colleagues.
