- about 2 hours agoAre you an experienced and confident HR Advisor? We have an exciting opportunity with our client who is a well known Charity. They are looking for an HR Advisor to join their team on a interim basis and is expected to be 6-9 months with an urgency to start as soon as possible. You will be experienced in first line ER cases and policies and self sufficient in the case load area.

The role is offered on a remote first basis with travel to the London office once a month.


Main Purpose of the HR Advisor:

  • To take over whole ER cases, including grievance, disciplinary, appeals, performance management, sickness and probation but excepting dismissals
  • To understand and interpret policies and advise thereon
  • To produce documentation for the HRPBs
  • To build a library of standard format documents and guidance

Experience needed of the HR Advisor:

  • HR advisor experience
  • ER knowledge discipline, grievance, appeals, performance and capability management
  • Experience of working in high pressure, high volume environments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self starter, organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Flexible with regards to work activities and priorities
  • Commitment to equality and diversity
  • Attention to detail

Desirable Experience:


  • Level 5 CIPD
  • Experience of unionised environments
  • Experience of third sector
