Due to continual expansion, Dicker Precision Components is looking for a CNC Turner Setter

• Operator to join us on a permanent basis

Established in 1973 Dicker Precision Components is a family-owned company specialising in manufacturing high quality components to a variety of industries worldwide.

With a range of 14 plus machines on site and recent investments we are looking for a knowledgeable person to fit into our small team.

Role Overview

Previous experience in a CNC Setter, Operator role is essential

• Set and run proven/unproven programs, adjust work and/or tool coordinates correcting any errors.
• Change from machine to machine at frequent periods if required.
• Work with fellow members of the turning team, sharing effective problem identification & resolution skills.
• Perform any additional operations necessary (including deburring) to produce finished components.
• Set tools and produce first off parts to standard.
• Capable of using Fanuc controls.
• Ensure that daily maintenance is carried out as required.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks that maybe asked from time to time within production or elsewhere.
• Produce work to a high standard, understanding engineering drawings and tolerances.

We require someone who has a high attention to detail, who is quality conscious, highly motivated with good communication and the ability to work off your own initiative as well as working well in a team environment.

40 hours per week, with immediate start (Overtime when available, early finish on Friday's)

Location is commutable from most surrounding areas such as Bexhill, Hastings, Seaford, Battle, Heathfield, Lewes etc.

Salary Competitive DOE (£14-16 PH)

4 weeks paid holiday.

£14.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
